Azuma Bridge - Handsome view of the impressive steel Azuma Bridge over the Sumida River in Tokyo, which opened in 1887. The towering structure stretches over the water, the roadway busy with pedestrians and rickshaws, At bottom left, a foreign couple strolls along, the man wears a top hat, black coat, vest, and striped pants. The woman wears a dress with a full skirt and bustle, and a bonnet adorned with feathers. A fascinating look at the first steel bridge in Tokyo, with wonderful architectural detail.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Two separate panels. Small losses at corners, a few holes and small tears at edges, repaired. Toning, wrinkling throughout, slight soiling, a few marks. Please see photos for details.
