Swallow in Rain Pillar Print

Comments - Terrific pillar print of a swallow flying in a rainstorm past the wooden pillar of a bridge. Rain slants down across the gray sky, and three fish swim against the current below. A handsome design with soft shading in the water and sky. Only the second time we've seen this subject in reprint.

Artist - Hiroshige (1797 - 1858)

Image Size - 11 1/8" x 4"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Toning, a couple stains, slight rubbing at edge. Please see photos for details.
