Shimbashi Station

Comments - Great view of Shimbashi Station in Tokyo, which opened during the Meiji era. The ornate stone building can be seen at right, while smoke pours from the engine of a train chugging along a track near the center. At lower right, a woman wearing the latest Western fashions strolls alongside a man in a top hat. An interesting design and a nice choice for a collector interested in railroad subjects.
