Comments - Charming scene of a beauty relaxing on a verandah on an autumn night. She smiles as a young girl climbs the steps at right carrying a basin of water with a red lacquer sake cup balanced top the hand. A tobacco set and pipe can be seen on the floor at lower left. Colorful maple leaves frame a view of the water beyond. An attractive design, nicely detailed. Includes a burnished geometric pattern on the black kimono.
