The Priest Nichiren Calming a Storm - Fantastic scene of the Priest Nichiren calming a storm by reciting Buddhist sutras as he is being taken to Sado Island for exile. Enormous waves threaten to swamp the ship as the priest stands in the prow with his prayer beads in hand, the wind whipping his robes about him. Behind him, a sailor and a monk panic as the boat is tossed about. A dramatic design.
