A Fuji Arts special Offer Auction

Toshijiro Inagaki  - Toshijiro (or Nenjiro) Inagaki was an acclaimed kimono designer who was designated an Intangible Cultural Property in 1962, the highest honor awarded to Japanese artists by the government. In the 1950s - 1960s, he designed a small group of prints using multicolor inks in a variety of tones. These stylized designs reflect the stencil-dyed techniques he used to create textiles, featuring geometric shapes and unusual gradations of color.

This Complete Boxed Set - This boxed set comprises 12 lithograph reproductions of prints by Toshijiro Inagaki. The reproductions are mounted along the top edge to a backing sheet, accompanied by a folder with text in Japanese information about the artist, the titles, and the subjects. The prints are housed in a paper covered box with a title slip and lift-out tray. Published by the Nippon Shinyaku Company in 1970. A nice way to acquire some of Inagaki's colorful modern imagery in a handsome presentation format.

Please note: - This boxed set is heavy. International bidders are welcome, however, there is an additional $25 charge to ship the set internationally.
