Couple in the Snow

Comments - Lovely kabuki scene of a couple strolling through the snow on a winter night. The beauty at right leans forward with her umbrella in one hand, the edge of the cloth covering her head caught between her teeth to keep it from blowing away. Her companion looks down with a strange grimace, wearing a blue coat over a diamond patterned kimono, a blue cloth wrapped about his neck. Snow falls heavily through the dark sky, blanketing a huge stone lantern behind them. A handsome design.
