Courtesan and Samurai on an Evening Stroll

Comments - Handsome scene of a courtesan and a samurai out for an evening stroll. The beauty smiles at her companion as she adjust a hairpin, wearing layers of kimono and tall wooden geta clogs. The man grins back at her, his black coat patterned with a striking design of large butterflies. The large wooden tub between them is filled with water for fighting fires, with smaller buckets perched on top beneath an angled roof. Cherry blossoms frame the night sky above. An attractive design, nicely detailed with embossing on the white kimono collars and trim, and a dusting of mica along the top of the sky.
