Good and Evil Wives: Drinking Sake; Mother Sewing - Interesting print from a series depicting examples of good and evil behavior for wives. To illustrate evil actions at left, a woman pours sake for a man while a servant with a lantern waits in the doorway outside. To demonstrate good behavior at right, a mother sews while her young child reads a book at her side. An intriguing subject, nicely detailed.
