Ichimura Uzaemon XII as Somegoro, 1843 - Handsome kabuki portrait of Ichimura Uzaemon XII as the otokodate or street knight Somegoro. He looks over his shoulder with a smile, one hand lifting the edge of his robe while the other rests atop the hilt of his sword. He wears a striking kimono patterned with swirling clouds, with an image on the leg of a red-faced demon gripping a shoulder plate between his teeth. An interesting design from this rarely seen Kuniyoshi series.
