Comments - Great kabuki portrait of Kawarazaki Gonjuro as Yamamoto Kansuke holding up a banner. He looks over his shoulder with an angry frown, his brows furrowed. He wears a fuzzy green striped outer robe, one sleeve pushed down to reveal a blue kimono with a yellow tie-dyed pattern. Snow falls heavily through the night sky above. A bold design, nicely detailed with cloth embossing on the banner.
