Comments - Handsome kabuki scene of two men about to fight outside a castle moat. The man at right grips his sword upright with both hands, frowning angrily. His companion tucks up the back of his robe for easier movement as he looks up with an angry scowl. The outer wall of the castle stretches across the background above the undulating water, with an entrance gate at left and a full moon glows in the night sky. The actor at right is Ichikawa Danjuro. Nice large expressive figures in an attractive setting.
