State Ceremony at Aoyama, 1894 - Handsome scene of the Meiji Emperor arriving at a military parade grounds at Aoyama for a state ceremony. At right, he steps down from an elegant carriage topped with a phoenix, wearing dress uniform and a feathered hat, officers respectfully bowing before him. Troops on horseback and infantrymen are waiting for review in the background. Nicely detailed.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Three attached panels. Vertical folds. A couple small losses, a few holes and small tears at edges, repaired. Wrinkling, slight toning, soiling, and staining. Please see photos for details.
