Courtesan Tsukioka of the Hyogo - Lovely okubi-e or large head portrait of the courtesan Tsukioka of the Hyogo, smiling as she unwraps a red lacquer sake cup. Her hair is arranged in a large bun adorned with a floral hairpins and a pink ribbon, a white sash tying it back while she works. A rarely seen Edo era beauty design, beautifully printed with fine line work in the hair.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Light toning, creasing at edges. Please note, the light orange pigment use on the collar has oxidized to a dark tone. Please see photos for details.
