Comments - Handsome kabuki scene of the samurai Shimizu Kiyoharu kneeling in front of a house, staring up over his shoulder with an angry scowl as he pushes up one sleeve, a sword in his other hand. He wears a black floral print kimono tucked into pants decorated with feathery blossoms, his thick hair tied into an upright topknot. In the room behind him, a stack of books rests on a low lacquer table, and a blossoming cherry tree can be seen through the windows in the distance. A nice expressive figure.
