In the center, Genji waves to a young woman leaning over the verandah of the upper story while a beauty reclines against him with her hand on his knee as she pours him a cup of sake. A large tray of sushi and other refreshments are spread on the floor before them. In the courtyard garden behind them, a couple of men admires the flowering trees. Wonderful detail in the architectural setting.
