Weaving on a Loom - Wonderful Utamaro design of a young woman weaving cloth using a backstrap loom. Her hair is piled high on her head and wrapped with a cotton cloth to keep it out of the way. A charming image of a household activity with soft color and lovely detail, including delicate embossing in the cloth on the loom and intricate patterning in the kimono and obi.

Artist - Utamaro (1750 - 1806)

Image Size - 14 3/4" x 9 3/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight toning, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
