After Hiroshige (1797 - 1858) Original Japanese Ink Drawing
Offered in the Fuji Arts Clearance - only $24.99!

Original Uchida Ink Drawings - We're pleased to offer a unique group of working drawings from a reprint edition of Hiroshige's "Great Tokaido" series published by Uchida, acquired directly from Uchida's archives. Called "hanshita," each beautifully detailed sketch is drawn in black ink on very thin paper, to be used for the outline or key block of the print. Most of the drawings include corrections or revisions in white pigment, and a few include small attached pieces of paper with text. A rare opportunity to purchase an original preparatory artwork used to create a Japanese woodblock print. A great choice for a collector or a student of printmaking.

Artist - After Hiroshige (1797 - 1858)

Size - 5 3/8" x 7 3/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Wrinkling throughout. Please see photos for details.
