Segawa Kikunojo as Koshimoto Okaru

Comments - Attractive kabuki portrait of Segawa Kikunojo as the lady's maid (koshimoto) Okaru. She looks up with a slight frown as she kneels on the floor, a fan in hand. Her black kimono features a pattern of delicate leaves and blossoms, worn over a red under robe and tied with a red print obi. A cloth is pinned over her hair to protect it from dust. An expressive figure, nicely detailed.
