Courtesans in Spring

Comments - Charming scene of elegantly dressed courtesans in a room overlooking the water. The beauty at left wears a red kimono patterned with peony blossoms and large dragonflies over an under robe tied with a brown brocade obi. A modern balustrade lines the balcony behind the trio, with a stone bridge visible at upper left and a woman admiring the view from another building at upper left, a blossoming cherry tree overhead. An attractive design, nicely detailed with embossing on the white kimono collars.

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 9 1/2"
