Her kimono is colored with rose and green, bordered with white cherry blossoms and pale blue swirling water. She holds an umbrella behind her back which also features cherry blossoms. Delicate white petals drift down over the ground, past a red framed lantern with writing on the shoji panels. The tree overhead is beautifully detailed with tiny white flowers and new leaves in rusty tones. An attractive spring subject from a series depicting the four seasons in Kyoto, detailed with shimmering silver mica details on the kimono and hair ornament.
