Original Yoshitora (active circa 1840 - 1880) Japanese Woodblock Print
The Mitsui-gumi Building

Comments - Interesting view of a modern Mitsui-gumi building with several stories and glass windows. A cupula tops the structure, with a weather vane of either side of the central tower. In the foreground, a mother carries a child on her back as she crosses over the Kaiun Bridge, a rickshaw behind her at right and a laborer carrying tubs from a yoke over his back below. Nice architectural detail.
