Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of Kataoka Gato II as Arakiya Isato sitting in an interior, looking over his shoulder with a slight frown, his arms firmly folded across his chest. A pipe rests on the floor beside and elegant lacquer tobacco set, and a folding screen provides privacy for the bed behind him. Nicely composed and detailed. A scene from the play "Hito kana deko dakara Soga."
