These marvelous scenes show travelers from both far away and up close, from tiny figures wandering through expansive landscapes to details of people stopping at the various sights and stations along the highway. Each print expresses his wonderful ability to capture human gestures and personalities, often with comic overtones. These attractive scenes are simply rendered in black and soft tones of gray and pink, accented with touches of light blue and green.
