Yatsukoji, inside Sujikai Gate - Handsome panoramic view of the Yatsukoji or "Eight Streets," a large plaza inside the Sujikai Gate, which was the junction of several different streets. Pedestrians, travelers, and laborers cross the wide open square, with a daimyo's procession at lower left and tea stalls at lower right. In the distance at upper right above low-lying red tinged clouds, Kanda Myojin Shrine nestles among the trees on the hillside. A lovely print with fine bokashi shading.
