Princess Watching Butterflies

Comments - Attractive kabuki portrait of a princess watching a pair of butterflies fluttering in the evening sky above her, a cloud patterned cloth in her hand. She wears a blue outer kimono patterned with cherry blossoms and spider webs, and her hair falls loosely over her shoulders, adorned with a comb and many hairpins. She stands beside a pine tree with a large hollow in the trunk, the branches framing the sky above. A verse is included on a vertical text inset at upper left. A handsome design, detailed with embossing on the white kimono collar.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. A few small holes, repaired. Slight toning and soiling. Please see photos for details.
