Comments - Interesting scene of a beauty and young girl in front of a toy shop display a weird variety of toys, the child pointing as she looks up at the beauty. At top center, strange figures with bobbing heads dangle from narrow bamboo poles, along with a bird that has a human face. Behind the girl at lower left, a cat, which also has a rather creepy human face, sits in front of an enormous Daruma doll. It is possible that the faces are meant to resemble specific kabuki actors, but we are not sure. A fascinating subject with wonderful detail.
