Comments - Terrific kakemono or vertical diptych of a courtesan looking over her shoulder as she pulls up the edge of her robe. Her outer kimono features stylized waves and branches of coral, worn over a black kimono which also has stylized waves, tied with a striking obi depicting a carp leaping up a rushing waterfall. The first time we've offered this lovely Edo era beauty design.
