Beauty after a Bath, 1892 Reprint - Attractive portrait of a beauty after a bath standing on a bamboo bench as she runs her hand through her long wet hair. She holds a fan in her other hand as she lifts the edge of her peach and white print kimono. Pieces of fabric are laid out on a wooden board to dry at right, with another length of cloth hanging behind her. A lovely design, published by the newspaper Fukuoka Nichinichi Shimbun in Meiji 25 (1892), with publishing information in the right margin. Please note, this is a fine lithograph reproduction, not a woodblock print. The first time we've seen this subject.
