Original Wood Printing Blocks - We recently acquired a small group of original Japanese wood printing blocks. These hand-carved printing blocks provide wonderful insight into the complex process used to create a woodblock print. Some blocks are double-sided with pigment remaining. We rarely come across blocks, and these would make an interesting and unusual addition to any Japanese woodblock print collection.

Original Wood Printing Block - This is an original hand-carved wood printing block from a collection we recently acquired. Each single block features a seal with text inside a variety of shapes. Most blocks in this group are carved on one side only, but a few are double sided (see as below). A fun and interesting object to add to a Japanese print collection.
