Ono no Yorikaze beside a River, 1850

Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of the young samurai Ono no Yorikaze standing beside a rushing river. He looks over his shoulder with a surprised expression, his mouth slightly agape as he holds the end of one sword. He wears a tan kimono with blue floral insets tucked into light green pants decorated with autumn grasses and blossoms. A willow tree frames the night sky above. A nice expressive figure in an attractive natural setting.
