Series; One Hundred Views of Tokyo at the End of the Century

One Hundred Views of Tokyo at the End of the Century - Interesting design from the series "One Hundred Views of Tokyo at the End of the Century," which features prints by members of the Japan Print Association. The members decided to create images capturing moments in the late years of the 20th century. Created between 1988 and 1999, subjects range from famous sites in Tokyo to imaginary views and abstract designs, in a small limited edition of 30 sets. Each print is signed, numbered, and titled in pencil in the bottom margin. In 2019, the Art Institute of Chicago hosted an exhibit of thirty works from the series. A great group of contemporary woodblock prints.
