Six Masterworks by Kitagawa Utamaro - This is a rare, extra-large format reprint from a series of "Six Masterworks by Kitagawa Utamaro," published by Shobisha of Tokyo in Showa 54 (1979). These classic designs by Utamaro are beautifully printed with crisp line work, and measure over than 20 inches tall! Each features the publisher's seal in the margin. We rarely see reprints in this size. A great choice for display.

Special detail - Silver mica background.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Small paper remnant on reverse at top center from original publisher mounting. A few small surface marks on mica, impression of edge of block across top and along sides. Please see photos for details.
