Celebration of the Twenty-fifth Wedding Anniversary of the Meiji Emperor and Empress, 1894

Comments - Interesting view of Ningyocho Street in Tokyo, the area bustling with activity. In the center, visitors enjoy a view from the upper balcony of a modern brick building with glass windows. Pedestrians share the road with rickshaws, with people stopping at the shops along the street. At upper right, smoke pours from a tall brick chimney, and blossoming cherry trees add pops of color to the scene.. Wonderful detail in this lively design.
