Beauties in the Street, 1852

Comments - Charming scene of three beauties in the street, the young woman at left closing a door behind her as she smiles at her companions. She carries a shallow wooden tub, and has a striped apron tied over her kimono. Her black kimono reverses to a red geometric pattern. Wooden slatted panels run across the background with blue curtains above. An interesting scene, nicely detailed.

Image Size - 13 7/8" x 28 1/2"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Three separate panels. Small losses at corners, small tear at edge, repaired. Slight soiling, a few creases, slight rubbing, wrinkle in left panel. Please see photos for details.
