These lively images show the samurai taking parting in the night attack on Lord Kira's mansion, attacking with swords and spears, dodging objects thrown at them, or in quieter moments, searching for Lord Kira or taking a brief rest. The expressive figures are rendered with Yoshitoshi's characteristic attention to detail and individual appearance. A great subject for a collector interested in this timeless story of honor and revenge.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse at side from previous mounting. Small loss and a few small tears at edges, repaired. A few light creases and marks. Please see photos for details.
