The Geisha Oshun, 1860

Comments - Charming portrait of the geisha Oshun standing in a doorway, shyly looking down with a sweet smile, lost in her thoughts. She wears an intricately patterned tie-dyed kimono, tied with a kimono that reverses from black to a red pattern. At upper right, two shamisen hang on the wall above a low desk. An expressive figure in a nicely detailed interior setting.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with paper. Small hole, repaired. Slight soiling and curling, a couple creases, small stain. Please see photos for details.
