Printing Production Series  - This terrific print process set comprises 11 woodblock reprints, including a finished print, a black key block, and the 9 successive color blocks used to print Hiroshige's "Religious Festival at Atsuta Shrine in Miya" from the Great Tokaido. A fascinating set showing the intricacies of the woodblock printing process and the complex number of colors and blocks used to create a single image. The set comes folded in paper with a title slip on the outside. Published by Nagoya Hogokamikai Kura (Nagoya Old Treasure Society Storehouse) with publisher's information in left margin. We don't come across these print process sets often, and this set is nice choice for a collector interested in the woodblock printing process.

Condition - Prints with excellent color and detail as shown. A couple prints have a small spot or two. Please see photos for details. Otherwise excellent condition overall.
