Original Eisen (1790 - 1848) Japanese Woodblock Print
Lucky Gods Daikoku and Ebisu with a Dog and a Falcon

Comments - Charming depiction of two of Japan's beloved Seven Lucky Gods. At left, Daikoku grins happily at his companion as he gestures with his finger, a dog with a red collar at his side. Ebisu smiles back at him, a falcon perched on his hand. Money is scattered across the ground, and the snow-covered peak of Mt. Fuji rises above the clouds in the background. A wonderful image of these popular deities.
