Samurai with a Lantern

Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of a samurai standing at a doorway, holding a lantern up as he looks suspiciously out of the corners of his eyes. He wears a gray kimono with a striking pattern of a blossoming plum tree, a flute in one hand and a sword at his side. An interesting design with a nicely detailed setting.

Artist - Kunisada II (1823 - 1880)

Image Size - 13 7/8" x 9 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Small hole at edge. Slight soiling and a few creases at edges. Please see photos for details.
