Twelve Scenes of Beauties - Charming woodblock featuring twelve small scenes of beauties and girls in daily life. At lower right, women ride in a ferry on a winter day. At upper left, girls play a game of "fukuwarai," which means "lucky laugh." The game is similar to pin the tail on the donkey, but involves placing facial features such as eyes, nose, and mouth, onto a face, while blindfolded, creating humorous results. An attractive group of subjects.

Condition - This print with good color and detail as shown. Small tear at edge, repaired. Vertical centerfold, fold at corner. Slight creasing. Please see photos for details.
