Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of two street musicians. At right, a young man wearing a red hood with feathers at the back of his head, taps a hand drum fastened to his waist, looking up with a grin at the beauty at left. His boldly checked pants add graphic interest. The woman glances back at him with a slightly amused expression, a shamisen in one hand and a woven hat in the other. Behind them, the rooftops of the city can be seen in dark silhouette against the evening sky. A handsome design with soft shading on the background.
