Series; Four Seasons of Hometowns in Japan, Volume 2

Taizi Harada - Taizi Harada is painter who is famous for depicting the everyday life of people in their hometowns throughout his country. For his series "Four Seasons of Hometowns," he visited all 47 prefectures in Japan to capture scenes of people in everyday activities. His designs have a charming, naïve quality with a lovely color palette, and there is a museum devoted to his work in Suwa, his birthplace.

A Limited Edition Lithograph - Taizi Harada released limited edition lithograph prints of his paintings. Each one is signed in pencil and numbered in the bottom margin, with an edition of 880 for each design. These attractive images would make wonderful framed displays. His works are rarely seen outside Japan. A nice choice for a collector interested in contemporary Japanese art.
