Shirabyoshi Dancer, 1894 - Handsome kabuki scene of a shirabyoshi dancer performing under autumn maple leaves. She strikes a pose with a folding fan in one hand and her sleeve thrown up behind her head. A beauty watches her quietly at left, while the man at right frowns at her. He holds a tray with a poem slip on it. Nicely large figures, detailed with light embossing on the white kimono collars and metallic pigment that has oxidized to a darker tone on the beauties' hair ornaments.
