The First Month (Mutsuki), 1847 - 1852 - Attractive scene from the first month of the year of a and a young boy gathered in a plum garden. The child rides a toy hobby horse, smiling back over his shoulder as he grips the striped reins. The beauty smiles claps her hands with delight as she watches the boy. She wears a dark blue-gray kimono with a design of gourds and vines, tied with a dragon obi. A charming image.

Condition - This print with good color and detail as shown. Backed with paper. A few holes and thinning spots, repaired. Toning, soiling, rubbing, a few marks and creases. Please see photos for details.
