Kayabacho in the Eastern Capital - Charming scene of a beauty and a young boy at Kayabacho in Edo on their way to visit a shrine. She carries the boy on her back, the child waving his hand. The woman smiles fondly at him as she looks over her shoulder. Her blue kimono is patterned gray and white leaves, tied with a checked obi. A border of clouds separates the figures from a view of the shrine bustling with visitors. An attractive design.
