Matron with a Tray of Sweets - Interesting kabuki portrait of a matron carrying a black lacquer tray piled with sweets or other refreshments. She looks over her shoulder with a suspicious frown as she pulls up the edge of her black outer kimono. A screen at upper right depicts crashing waves, with drapery above. Nicely detailed with fine line work in the hair, embossing on the white kimono collar, and burnishing on the tray and the black areas of the kimono.

Image Size - 14 1/8" x 9 1/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. A few creases, slight soiling, small spot. Please see photos for details.
