Street Performer at New Year's - Charming Meiji original woodblock fan prints in the uchiwa or rigid fan shape depicting a street performer dancing during New Year's. Two noblemen watch as he hops on one foot, holding a fan in his outstretched hands. A traditional holiday display of pine and bamboo can be seen at upper right. This print features embossed lines radiating from the base. An interesting and unusual collectible.
