Picture Album of Alpine Plants - Lovely design from Inoue Masaharu's series "Picture Album of Alpine Plants," published in 1931 - 1932, which featured fifty woodblocks of plants native to the Japanese Alps. These attractive shin-hanga floral images are beautifully drawn and colored, with careful attention to detail. Each print has a text panel in Japanese attached to the reverse. A rare series and a great choice for a shin-hanga collector.
