Courtesan with a Dragon Obi Kakemono, 1878 - Terrific kakemono or vertical diptych of an elegantly dressed young courtesan. She wears a red kimono patterned with lucky symbols, including a wish-fulfilling jewel, tied with a black obi depicting a fierce dragon and swirling clouds. Her hair is adorned with many floral hairpins and a large comb. A striking design nicely suited to the vertical format.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Two attached panels, backed with paper. Creasing, slight toning, horizontal folds. Please note, due to the size, this print may be shipped rolled. Please see photos for details.
